Elsie Carmona

Born June 24, 2004, Elsie is a passionate educator, artist, and community builder. As the Senior Youth Education Specialist at the Boys and Girls Club of the Twin Cities, she invests in the next generation through creativity, mentorship, and learning. Her talents span across singing, acting, modeling, and spoken word — all of which she uses to inspire, express, and connect. A daughter, innovator, and lifelong learner, Elsie brings heart and vision into every space she enters. Since November 2021, Elsie has been an active member of the choir Known MPLS, which became her first spiritual community after coming to Christ. Through it, she has grown emotionally and spiritually, found lifelong friendships, and gained the confidence to worship and perform with boldness. From open worship to every gig, Known MPLS has been a source of deep joy and transformation in her journey. Elsie is forever grateful for what Jesus has done in her life through this community — and looks forward to all He has in store for the future.

Known MPLS was my first community after I came to Christ. I’ve grown spiritually, emotionally, and have built lifelong friendships. So many memories have been made in every gig we have done. I have had the blessing to connect with Jesus throughout open worship and have expanded my confidence through the years. I am forever grateful for this choir and can’t wait for what Jesus has for us in the future.
