Fua Yang

Meet Fua, a 27 year old performer born on the 21st of February raised in North Minneapolis, MN. After receiving his Associates Degree at NHCC, he has taken time some time off to discover other passions before continuing with school whilst actively working on the side. Witnessing his father in a small town band growing up, was how Fua grew his love for music and singing. He has been performing ever since whether that be in school shows, community events, or in the shower. On his free time, you can find Fua spending quality time with his friends, training for his next running challenge or exploring the cities for new foods to try. Fua has only been a member with Known MPLS for a year, but is excited to see where this new journey takes him and his love for music.

Known MPLS has been an outlet for me to itch that scratch I have to just be able to be on stage again and using my voice to be a part of something meaningful. A sense of purpose and belonging. Since being a part of Known MPLS, I will always have something to look forward to and a space for me to elevate myself and others as well as my musical background.
