Meet Mariah Barber, born on October 7, 2008, and raised in Minneapolis, MN. She is a senior at Columbia Heights HS with plans to study Political Science at an HBCU. She joined Known MPLS in September 2025 and describes it as a space that feels like a community where faith, music, and purpose come together. Through Known MPLS, Mariah continues to grow as a vocalist and believer.
Known MPLS has become a space of growth, and community for me. Every rehearsal reminds me why I love singing in the first place, because it connects people. I’ve gained confidence not only in my voice but also in my faith.
