Every vision starts with a whisper.
For me, it wasn’t a strategy, a business plan, or a five-year goal. It was a God idea—a nudge in my spirit to start something that felt so much bigger than me. I didn’t know the details, I didn’t know the how, and honestly, I didn’t feel qualified. But I felt God saying, “This is the change you’ve been praying to see. Start it.”
So I said yes.
What I didn’t know then is that a yes to God is never small. It opens doors you never imagined, not just for you, but for everyone connected to your obedience. My yes created space—space for youth and young adults to grow, heal, create, and discover their voices. Space for community to form. Space for lives to be transformed.
And let me be honest… nothing about this journey has been easy. The Bible talks about learning how to suffer with God so that we may also reign with Him. I’ve lived that. I’ve learned that purpose will stretch you. Calling will cost you. Vision will humble you. But when God breathes on something, even the hard seasons become holy ground.
Voicez Inc. and Known MPLS didn’t grow because I had everything figured out. They grew because I was willing to be a part of the change I wanted to see in my city. What started as a step of faith has become an organization impacting hundreds of youth and young adults—giving them a platform, a community, and a sense of belonging. Watching them walk in confidence, purpose, and creativity has been one of the greatest blessings of my life.
This is just the beginning.
And if there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s this:
There is power in a yes from God.
Power to build.
Power to heal.
Power to shift lives and shape futures.
My prayer is that someone reading this feels permission to say yes, even if it scares you. Even if you don’t feel ready. Even if you can’t see the whole picture.
Because when God gives you an idea, He has already prepared the impact.
This journey has shown me that obedience doesn’t just change my life—it changes the lives of everyone connected to it.
As I continue walking out this calling, here are the truths I’m standing on — and I pray they speak life into you, too:
• My “yes” to God is powerful, purposeful, and pregnant with impact.
• God’s vision for my life is bigger than my fears, limitations, and insecurities.
• I am graced to build what God has entrusted to me.
• Every challenge is shaping me, strengthening me, and preparing me to reign with Him.
• I do not walk alone — Heaven backs my obedience.
• What I start in faith, God will finish in power.
• My leadership creates space for others to rise, flourish, and believe in themselves.
• I am part of the change God is releasing in my city.
• Impact flows through me because God’s presence rests on me.
• I am becoming everything God saw when He gave me the idea.
