There’s this song that gets me SOO Hyped!. It goes “Something’s about to shift” over and over again. It’s a declaration of the sovereignty of God. Sovereignty is supreme, independent authority and power to govern a political unit, territory, or state without external control. I have been “fighting the good fight” for 6 years now. There has been blessings, warfare, grief, joy, love, unforgiveness, etc. But the Word of the Lord declares in Acts 1:7 “It is not for you to know the times or the season which the Father hath put in his own power”. Something that has just recently settled in my spirit is the urgency of reconciliation.
The Lord speaks so distinctly to everyone, but for me he speaks through seasons. There are many times as believers where it is easier to believe God can work for other people’s lives, but not for yourself. It’s this constant battle between faith and hope tugging for your attention and emotions. This isn’t just a Christian struggle believe it or not. I asked Google: “do people outside the Christian faith often experience a deep struggle between Faith and Hope”? . Google said “yes”. This inner conflict goes even deeper to those who do let believe in a higher power. They rely on the Human effort to create a dream of a better future through hope. I imagine that when there are major negative headlines, personal battles, and things outside of their control;it must feel like the end of the world. I know it definitely did for me when I didn’t have a relationship with God.
I say all of this to say that this season God wants to show up as a father, reconciling his people back to himself. To the Lost, broken, discouraged. He calls himself Omega, healer, and Our salvation. We’re more than halfway through 2026 and we’ve seen God move in miraculous ways. People have been redeemed, restored, and Renewed in the choir and through our community. That is what this ministry and our lives are about. Revealing the true nature of who Jesus Christ is. Even when I have no hope, my faith will never leave, God made sure of that. I want to encourage you all to seek the Father in this season to heal you, instill your indemnity, and approve you. I’ll leave you with this last quote: “Build the walls of your mind with God’s truth”. Lets exercise that right now:
Let the church say AMEN.
