Aniya Spears

Aniya Spears is a Minneapolis-based creative who seamlessly weaves her faith into her work as an Electronic Dance Music producer, community leader, and entrepreneur. Born at the turn of the millennium, she is a natural beacon for change. Her artistic voice forges a unique path in bass house music with a cutting-edge, biblically grounded sound. Her debut single, “New Jerusalem,” invites a generation to find joy in the hope of eternity, drawing from Revelation 21. This musical ministry also extends to her church’s praise & worship team and her role as a singer with Known MPLS. These musical channels reconnect her to the performing arts roots cultivated at FAIR School Crystal and SPCPA—a foundation that now finds its ultimate purpose in her faith. Her other endeavors are a direct extension of this conviction. She empowers the modern modest woman through her fashion brand, Wonderfully Woven. She also serves vulnerable populations at Jordan Area Community Council. These acts of service, alongside her gift for hospitality and a growing passion for international ministry, embody a spirit of servant leadership. For renewal, she turns to the quiet joys of painting, canoeing, and sewing. Every thread—creative, communal, and personal—is woven into a single, purposeful tapestry, as celebrated in Psalm 139 and Romans 8:28.

Known MPLS has truly been an answered prayer. I asked God to put me back in spaces with people who love to create music–music that excellently glorifies Him. Since joining Known MPLS, I’ve grown immensely in my voice, stage presence, consistency and determination which follows me into all areas of my life. It’s an honor and blessing to be in such a wonderful community.
