What Known Means to Me:
Known is more than just my choir; it is a part of who I am. Being a member of Known has helped shape me into the person I am today by giving me a place where I can express myself, grow, and discover the power of my own voice. When I look back at my journey, I realize that Known has been one of the most meaningful parts of my life because it has given me more than music. It has given me community, confidence, purpose, and faith.

Through Known, I’ve established a firm relationship with God. Being surrounded by people who share a love for God and music, just like me, helped me discover that my voice is more than something I use to perform. It is a way to connect with and praise God, encourage others, and communicate something deeper than words alone. I am beyond grateful and proud to be a part of Known MPLS.

My Biggest Inspiration:
My biggest inspiration is my mom, my siblings, and the relationship I continue to build with God. I am continuously reminded that I have a purpose beyond myself, so every day I am inspired to keep growing and becoming. I strive to be the very best I can be so I can make my mom proud, show my siblings that whatever they want out of life is achievable with a strong work ethic, and, most importantly, continue to grow in my relationship with God. I want to experience the fullness of His presence and, in doing so, walk into the fullness of my calling.

The Impact I Want to Make:
One day, I want to change the world through my voice, through singing, teaching, motivational speaking, and spreading the Word of Christ. Known has taught me that a voice can bring people together, shift the posture of people’s hearts, and inspire change. I want to take that lesson with me throughout my life.

Whether I am singing on a stage, speaking to a room full of people, or simply encouraging someone who needs it, I want to use my voice to leave people better than I found them. I pray to make a difference by staying true to my faith, using my talents intentionally, and creating something that reaches beyond myself.
