What Known Means to Me:
To me, Known means so much more than just singing together; it means hope, community, and love. I’m excited every Monday to step into rehearsal. The songs we sing bring encouragement to the community, but also to me and others in the choir. Having dedicated time to lift each other up, continue developing our talents, and come together is a blessing I thank God for often.
Dream:
After graduating high school, I hope to attend college and get a bachelor’s degree in ASL. I want to use that skill to spread positivity and faith to people in the Deaf community. I eventually hope to become a full-time ASL interpreter.
The Impact I Want to Make:
I hope to make an impact on my community by being someone who pursues justice and is a reflection of my faith. I hope to be a peacemaker and an effective and efficient problem solver.
